Happy Birthday Aaron!!!

Ellie says, "Happy Birthday to my only odd birth year cousin on the Haecker side" (for all of those reading this...Aaron really wanted Ellie to be born in December so he could remain the only Haecker born in an odd year, Ellie however didn't agree with his plan.
...sometimes Aaron has some odd requests!!! (we love him anyway)

We are looking forward to you being at school in MI this next year...can't wait to see you more!

So I was informed by Alyssa today that all of the posts that I have done over the last week have not been showing up...I have been able to recover some of them and hoping to do some more tomorrow...please let me know if you are seeing posts from the last week!!! Sure would have been nice if people could see posts as I was posting them...not all at one time...gotta love technology sometimes!!!!

Family Outing

We had a good day today...not many pictures but overall a good day! We headed out to pick out and order cabinets for the basement kitchen area...needless to say with the rain this morning it apparently made Ellie want to sleep in, she didn't decide to grace us with her presence till almost 9. Yeah that doesn't normally happen. So needless to say we had a slow start to the day, but we successfully picked out cabinets, got a little lunch, made our first trip to Menards with Kailynn (she was not overly impressed) but figured it would happen sooner or later, since Daddy goes there often and had dinner with the Hildebrandts. We had soup from one of the teachers at Trinity...part of our soup of the month that we won from the Trinity Auction. Good day...glad to get out of the house!

Also this morning before we left...Flowers arrived from a family that I nannied for in college...the flowers were beautiful. Thanks Jenn, Charlie, Ian and Olivia!!!

We had a busy day...wears a girl out!

Kailynn has had a few bottles and has done well with them...we did the same with Ellie...I like to know that I can leave milk in the fridge and she will be ok with taking it from someone else!

Just hung around home today...have enjoyed having Daddy home this week! No big events or trips, just settling in!

Ellie gets up every morning and looks for Kailynn...she checks her out frequently throughout the day....usually putting a cover on her or trying to put her plug in her mouth

Uncle Greg and Aunt Dawn brought down the kids old vacuum...one of Ellie's new favorite toys...and the best part it even makes noise!!! (sadly she forgets to turn it off much of the time, so there is often a whirring sound around our house)

Saturday night to Sunday was awesome...Kailynn slept like a champ! She did a long stretch of 4 hours...can't complain about that! Sunday afternoon Greg's family came for a quick visit to meet the newest cousin!

Grandma Steph got to see Kailynn at the hospital, unfortunately it was because she brought Tate to ER because he got stung by some bees and his face began to swell. Fortunately, after the doctor examined him and watched him for awhile he was ok.
