One Month Pictures

Ellie had one month pictures taken a few weeks ago...she is growing like a weed!!! She is much more awake these days, smiling more, and exploring all the noises that she can make!!

Ellie continues to grow and change with each day...this last week she has really taken to smiling when you talk to her...those smiles are the best!!! We have been keeping ourselves busy...2 weekends ago we went up to my parents to do some work in their kitchen...(pictures to come when they get downloaded off the camera, with as many pictures as we take/have we should hire someone to organize them all) Anyway here are a few from the last weeks...and pictures of Ellie meeting Grandma and Grandpa Smith when they came for baptism.

Welcomed into God's Family

Today we welcomed our Ellie Karen into God's Family... Many friends and family were able to join us at church and then back at our house to celebrate. We are so blessed to have been given this little girl to raise and love!!!

Ellie went to the doctor last week...all is great. She weighed in at 8lbs 13 oz. Doctor was pleased and said their main goal is to have babies back to their birth weight and she passed that. He also said he is pretty sure they measured her length wrong in the hospital because last Monday she was 21.5 inches long...and he was pretty sure she didn't grow 2 inches in 2 weeks. She is starting to smile more and we are loving each minute that we get to spend with her!!!

Week 2...Ellie continues to be a very easy baby...she is still sleeping well at night and eating well. Ellie and mom went to school yesterday so that mom could get some stuff that she needed for finishing report cards. She got to visit with some of the teachers.
