No Good Reason

So I have no good reason why I have not posted on the blog...days seem to come and go and it is one of the things that didn't get done. So I basically downloaded a variety of pictures from November...perhaps then I can move to Dec.

Good Morning from Ellie and Kailynn

Prayers

This past Saturday morning we received a call from Alyssa asking if church had called yet, I said no, why? She told me that our pastor from Immanuel, Pastor Kevin Palmer had passed away earlier that morning. This was all very sudden and unexpected. He was taken by ambulance, after experiencing severe chest pain, to the hospital, where they rushed him to immediate surgery. They found that he had a tear in his aorta, and the surgeons were not able to stabilize him and repair the tear in time. He was only 38 years old, and had a wonderful family, his wife Jill and 3 children.

We still are trying to comprehend and process the situation. Sitting in church on Sunday I could still picture him up there conducting the service and not truly being able to believe all that had happened. We fully know that God has much better plans than we do, but that still doesn't make it easier to understand. We rest assured knowing that God works good in all situations.

We ask that you would pray for the Palmer family and for our church family. We are all going to miss him as pastor, friend, and family member.

We are grateful for the time we had with him here on earth, celebrate his life, and rejoice in the knowledge that he is been welcomed into the gates of Heaven.

Problem Fixed (hopefully)

So after saving, deleting, and downloading I think our blog is fixed...or at least I hope so! Trying just a few pictures to make sure people other than myself can see them! We took a trip up to Nana and Papa Haeckers this week...just a couple pictures to make sure it works and then I will work on catching up!
