Happy Thursday

Just a few pictures from our day...

I realize this picture is blurry...however, Kailynn was laughing so hard and giggling that even though it is blurry it made me smile, watching her play with the kitchen set.

Happy Ellie with her critters

It was in the 90's today so we set out the pool and had some fun in the water

Shocking...Kailynn climbing

Kailynn trying to push daddy's hand away...basically saying, "I can do it myself"

Fun in the sun

2 girls who love water

Kailynn the Climber

Very Excited

Thanks Aunt Eleanore for the box you sent for both girls...to say Ellie was excited about her new pj's would be an understatement. Kailynn and Ellie helped open the box and instantly Ellie wanted her Minnie Mouse nightgown put on...needless to say I managed to keep her from putting it on at 2 in the afternoon...but at bedtime she was pretty excited. Although most of the time she calls Minnie ~ Mickey these days! Thanks again for all the clothes for the girls, love you!

Doing a little dance

Very Proud!!!

Planting her flower

Ellie went with me this morning to pick out some of my flowers for planting outside. I told her she could pick out a flower to plant and she could decide where she wanted it planted.

This is the flower she picked...and was very proud of it.

Kailynn watching the planting process from her stroller as to avoid having her eat dirt

Ellie decided she wanted to plant her flower in a sand pail.
Filling her bucket...

One handful at a time...

Once her pail was full, she positioned her flower...

Showing off her planted flower to Kailynn

Her flower needed a little watering

Happy Saturday

Saturday was spent getting things done around the house, packing for VA, a few errands got run, a trip down to the Hildebrandts to pick up some more "stuff" from the garage sale and a little extra family time. It feels like the weeks are passing by much to quickly.

A little sister love before bed

Just being silly

A good Saturday with our little family of 4

Ellie never tells me she is tired....however today after lunch she told me "nigh nigh" and headed to her room...after changing Kailynn and getting her down for a nap I peeked in at Ellie...yep she was asleep...wish going to sleep was that easy everyday!!!

Even Packer Fans need a little nap

Ellie was explaining to her sister the different tools this morning and handing them to Kailynn one at a time to examine...

...but making sure Kailynn gave them all back!

Daddy is so proud...one of Ellie's favorite magazines to look through is his tool catalog...Daddy's little helper!

Ellie decided after her nap today that she wanted popcorn for a snack...her little sister really really wanted to eat popcorn as well...

Ellie trying to keep Kailynn's hand out of the bowl

Silly girls...

A little Ellie love for Mommy

Kailynn loving on Daddy, but really eyeing the blocks and deciding how to get there to knock down the wall

Kailynn climbed under the exersaucer...Ellie joined her to play, but really Kailynn wasn't sure about the whole thing.

Tate Turns 5

Happy Birthday Tater McGee...We love you lots, and hope you have a great 5th Birthday and many blessings in this coming year!

Auction Complete

The auction for Trinity is over! For the second year it was a great success...everyone is happy it does well and relieved that it is over. Uncle Greg, Aunt Dawn, Hannah and Cole watched the kiddos for us so we could go to the auction along with Nana and Papa. I met Dawn Friday morning for her to take them and then met Greg Saturday afternoon to get them back. They had a great time while visiting.

Kailynn happy to be home...gives a smile before bedtime

Everything is ready for the auction...

the room looked good...

thanks to lots of people for helping.

Mary, Brenda Dean, and Laura Sauerman solving all auction problems.

If you look closely you will see Pete playing "heads and tails" one of the auction games

Tower Building

Ellie has been big into building with blocks lately...duplo, wooden blocks, letter blocks, etc. One of her favorite things is building towers, she especially likes building the tall towers with Daddy's help.

Ellie needs Daddy's help to put one more block on top...

concentrating on putting on another block...

the tower is taller than Ellie

The towers kept getting taller each time.

Ellie has had fun playing with Nana and Papa...auction is coming together.

A happy girl before bedtime

Wrestling with Papa...

Happy March

Nana and Papa are here watching the girls and helping to get ready for the auction at Trinity. Ellie has liked having extra people to play with. One of her current favorite things to do is play with her duplo blocks...

Papa and Nana brought a duplo train that they had at their house for Ellie to add to her collection

Just a happy girl, waiting for breakfast

Kailynn has managed to be able to get where she wants to go...here she is crawling over the side of boat, but she took a break to chew on a toy along the way

Crazy kid

Kailynn is Growing Up

I know it is often said, but I can't believe how fast the girls are growing up. I have a hard time believing Kailynn is only a couple days away from turning 7 months old!!!

Look closely...she is starting to eat puffs... here Ellie is helping her get them to her mouth

She seemed to like the banana puffs...however she was really more interested in getting goldfish out of Ellie's bowl

Up on all fours... she didn't go anywhere but she looks determined!!

Hi Mommy...
Just a warning, I am contemplating becoming mobile.
Love, Kailynn
