One Week Old!!!

Mason marked his one week old birthday today...he has survived these crazy sisters for a whole week...little does he know he has many more to go!!! This morning I went with Alyssa to help do some cleaning at a friends house for a couple hours since Daddy was off today. Mason went with me and the girls hung out with Daddy! They did a little cleaning in Ellie's room and while doing that they played dress-up! After I got home, some things got done around the house and then we took a family outing to Costco to purchase a new Christmas tree and do a few other errands. We even managed to get dinner while we were out. Again very thankful Mason is so laid back!

Hildebrandt Visit

Hildebrandt's came for a visit this evening and brought dinner with them, what a great surprise. The boys both saw Mason for the first time and each held him. Cade seemed truly surprised about how small Mason was...it was fun watching the "big"boys hold the newest little guy!

This morning after everyone was up, Nana, Ellie, and I heading up to Valpo to run a few errands before they headed home. Papa stayed home with Mason and Kailynn (who both were sleeping)
Overall everyone seems to be settling in and adjusting to our new normal!

We had a great day...Mason slept fairly well last night...and had several hours today that he was alert and looking around, hoping that leads to another night of some sleep for us!!! Ellie and Kailynn are still loving that Nana and Papa are here and willing to play and read stories...they are liking the extra attention.

The Newest Member of the Nemeth Family

Mason Joseph Nemeth has joined our family!!!

He was born at 2:35pm weighing 8 lbs 1 oz and was 20 inches long.

Mason and Mommy are both doing fine! Many pictures to follow! Here are few from the first few minutes!

10 little fingers and 10 little toes...thanks be to God for the gift of new life!

Today is the Day!

By the time I post again we will have a new member in our family...it is about 11:30am and we are heading out to the hospital shortly... this morning around 3:15 I woke up and was trying to decide how to get comfortable again when my water broke and labor started. I got up and did a few things around the house...until Pete woke up. I told him he wasn't going to work because we were having a baby. He promptly said ok...asked if i needed anything and rolled over. I laid down for a little while till the girls woke up. Kailynn came in and snuggled a little bite with us...gave the baby a few kisses and laid on my belly a bit and then was ready for the day to begin. Ellie got up shortly there after, and was thrilled Daddy was home...although she had no idea that it wasn't Saturday but rather baby day! Breakfast, gathering of last minute things and then Aunt Alyssa and Cade came and picked up the girls. We have been hanging out at home waiting for contractions to get stronger ... so now we are off! Please prayer for a quick and a safe delivery for Baby Nemeth! More news to follow!

The Amendt Family Comes Back

Melissa and the kiddos stopped back by our house Sunday night and Monday before heading back to Ohio. It was good to see them, watch the kids play together, and catch up!

A Visit with Pete's Family

Last Sunday Pete's mom and Donnie came for a visit to meet baby Avery. They spent the week with DC and Becca. On Thursday night we took dinner over to spend some time with them and for them to see the girls! I didn't take many pictures but Grandma and Grandpa were amazed at how big the girls were getting .
