Pete shows off all the bows mommy got for Ellie while out shopping! (I asked before I put them all on him...it went something like this...

Mary: Do you want to play ribbons and bows?

Pete: What is that?

Mary: I will show you...

Pete: (afterwards) I don't want to play this again

Mary: Oh, just wait till Ellie wants to have fun with her daddy!

Ellie has always liked cows and enjoyed leaving one morning and seeing them somewhat up close and personal

We went to the stockyards for a day...Ellie wasn't sure if we were sending her on the pig/sheep subway

Trip to Texas (part 1)

A little over a week ago we made our way down to Texas to visit with Pete's Aunt, Uncle and family! We had a great trip, got to visit some neat places and enjoy time with family!

Our first flight there was an extra seat so Ellie got to sit in her own seat

Once we got to Texas...Ellie needed a nap on the way home... (we had all been up since 4:45am)

While we were there, we got to celebrate Uncle Andy's Birthday with the family

Ellie would tell you that Aunt Eleanore makes some yummy cake and gives BIG pieces :) true happiness for a one year old

I think I am going to like this vacation thing
