Planting her flower

Ellie went with me this morning to pick out some of my flowers for planting outside. I told her she could pick out a flower to plant and she could decide where she wanted it planted.

This is the flower she picked...and was very proud of it.

Happy Saturday

Saturday was spent getting things done around the house, packing for VA, a few errands got run, a trip down to the Hildebrandts to pick up some more "stuff" from the garage sale and a little extra family time. It feels like the weeks are passing by much to quickly.

Ellie never tells me she is tired....however today after lunch she told me "nigh nigh" and headed to her room...after changing Kailynn and getting her down for a nap I peeked in at Ellie...yep she was asleep...wish going to sleep was that easy everyday!!!

Ellie was explaining to her sister the different tools this morning and handing them to Kailynn one at a time to examine...



...but making sure Kailynn gave them all back!

Daddy is so proud...one of Ellie's favorite magazines to look through is his tool catalog...Daddy's little helper!

Ellie decided after her nap today that she wanted popcorn for a snack...her little sister really really wanted to eat popcorn as well...

Auction Complete

The auction for Trinity is over! For the second year it was a great success...everyone is happy it does well and relieved that it is over. Uncle Greg, Aunt Dawn, Hannah and Cole watched the kiddos for us so we could go to the auction along with Nana and Papa. I met Dawn Friday morning for her to take them and then met Greg Saturday afternoon to get them back. They had a great time while visiting.

Tower Building

Ellie has been big into building with blocks lately...duplo, wooden blocks, letter blocks, etc. One of her favorite things is building towers, she especially likes building the tall towers with Daddy's help.

Nana and Papa are here watching the girls and helping to get ready for the auction at Trinity. Ellie has liked having extra people to play with. One of her current favorite things to do is play with her duplo blocks...

Kailynn is Growing Up

I know it is often said, but I can't believe how fast the girls are growing up. I have a hard time believing Kailynn is only a couple days away from turning 7 months old!!!

Look closely...she is starting to eat puffs... here Ellie is helping her get them to her mouth


She seemed to like the banana puffs...however she was really more interested in getting goldfish out of Ellie's bowl


Up on all fours... she didn't go anywhere but she looks determined!!
